The Forum will highlight how businesses can leverage the EU Global Gateway strategy, which includes a range of financing opportunities provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB), various European Development Finance Institutions (EDFIs), and key bilateral financial organisations.
The EU-Nepal Business Forum annual event offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage with relevant officials, explore potential investment projects, and establish valuable contacts for subsequent discussions and collaborations. Through these interactions, businesses can gain deeper insights into available funding mechanisms and forge strategic partnerships that align with their investment goals and objectives.
The EU-Nepal Business Forum intends to:
- reinforce the policy dialogue and cooperation between the EU, its member States and development finance ecosystem and the government of Nepal to support the sustainable social and economic development of Nepal, and to implement the EU Global Gateway strategy in Nepal
- contribute to these objectives, build on the momentum of the previous Business Forum 2024 to create further relations and business partnerships between the European and Nepalese private sector and business community at large, including the sectors of Energy and Digital
The agenda includes a mixture of panels and keynote sessions organised into plenary sessions and parallel sessions. It will also feature several business networking events, visits to a business fair, pitching sessions, matchmaking meetings, signature ceremonies, and a gala dinner.
Participation is free but requires registration and subsequent approval, since participants are screened prior to selection to ensure a highly relevant audience. Participation can be in-person or online.
