Description
The EU-Pakistan High Level Business Forum marks the beginning of a strategic initiative to deepen business relations between the EU and Pakistan. It serves as the first in a series of high-level forums aimed at building enhanced understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the Pakistani economy and promoting effective solutions to attract foreign direct investment and enhance trade across diverse sectors. The forum will facilitate insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and the creation of new business connections.
This full-day and half conference features high level panel discussions, showcases of innovative research, breakout rooms for sector-specific dialogues, the launch of an EU business network, project signings, matchmaking and business to business meetings, networking events, and pitching sessions for businesses. As part of the Global Gateway strategy, it will also showcase possible support from a range of European Financial Institutions to de-risk investments in Pakistan.
The forum will spotlight both investment opportunities and challenges in critical sectors, including energy, technology, agriculture, textiles, green logistics, healthcare equipment, and IT.
With the participation of key economic policymakers in Pakistan, the event aims to be a transformative platform that fosters a better understanding of Pakistan’s economic potential.
