Description
Building on the EU–Rwanda Business Forum held in 2023 and the green bonds–focused discussions in 2025, the Global Gateway Investment Roadshow in Rwanda is a deal-oriented initiative designed to translate dialogue into concrete investment.
The Roadshow will open with a high-level roundtable segment to frame priority sectors and financing opportunities, followed by dedicated matchmaking and bilateral sessions to advance bankable projects. A specific emphasis will be on climate-smart agriculture, conservation and tourism, health and pharmaceuticals, smart cities and digitalisation, as well as energy and critical raw materials, while showcasing how EU financial instruments, including EFSD+ guarantees, can help de-risk investments and crowd in private capital.
