Overview
The project aims to build capacity and support the implementation of EU human rights due diligence legislation in key production countries, while strengthening inclusive stakeholder engagement.
BOOST HRDD is part of the Trade Union Co-financing Programme (TUCP). Among other activities, the project:
- Provides tailored training and support to workers, civil society organisations, small producers, and local communities to help them engage with EU HRDD legislation.
- Establishes local “service points” in production countries, offering accessible technical guidance and tools for compliance.
- Collects insights from local stakeholders and connects them with businesses and regulators to inform inclusive policymaking.
- Facilitates multi‑actor dialogue to ensure HRDD implementation benefits all supply chain actors.
- Promotes transparency and responsible business practices, helping suppliers demonstrate compliance and build trust with buyers.
