Overview
The project aims to strengthen Ethiopia’s horticultural sector, contributing to economic growth, food security, food safety and nutrition, and sustainable development.
The activities of the project include:
- Strengthening the capacities of private sector operators (MSMEs and producer groups) to compete in domestic, regional, and international markets
- Enhancing the enabling environment of Ethiopia’s horticultural sector to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of Ethiopian-origin products
- Identifying and addressing bottlenecks affecting the competitiveness and sustainability of horticultural exports through enhanced policy dialogue and public-private collaboration
