European Partnership for Responsible Minerals (EPRM)

Overview

EPRM aims to increase the proportion of responsibly produced and sourced minerals from artisanal and small-scale mining communities operating in conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRAs).

EPRM funds projects to support better social, environmental and economic conditions for mining communities in CAHRAs. Integral to EPRMs projects is a focus on connecting multiple supply chain actors to help them to comply with the standards required under the OECD Due Diligence Guidance. This enables ASM communities to access formal markets and allows companies across the supply chain to source minerals from responsible mine sites in CAHRAs, preventing disengagement from ASM. Check the website for information on the calls for proposals.

In addition to funding, the EPRM website offers a "Due Diligence Hub, which provides you with the tailored due diligence resources you need to ensure that the minerals in your supply chain, especially tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG), are responsibly mined and sourced".

Please visit the project website or contact us to find out how this support can benefit you.
