Overview
PAGE aims to enable a macroeconomic environment to achieve the global targets of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Paris Climate Agreement and Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
PAGE provides support based on the demand and demonstrated commitment of beneficiary countries to developing enabling policy and institutional frameworks for an inclusive green economy.
The project engages in:
- National policy making: Countries can reinforce and integrate Inclusive Green Economy goals and targets into national economic and development planning aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Strengthening capacity: PAGE strengthens the capacity of individuals, government, and institutions, developing expertise and enabling them to put inclusive green economy principles into practice.
- Knowledge sharing: For knowledge sharing, PAGE organizes high-level events, conferences, and workshops involving current and future PAGE countries to build networks and global platforms to exchange experiences and information.
