Strengthening responsible business in emerging markets and developing economies through tailor-made National Action Plan guidance and training

Overview

The overall objective is to empower governments in emerging markets and developing economies to design and implement National Action Plans on business and human rights that are informed by global trends and tailored to their specific context.

Key activities are:

  1. Developing a guide on thematic content areas of National Action Plans on Business and Human rights that are particularly relevant to emerging markets and developing economies, informed by good practices and lessons learned in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Asia-Pacific
  2. Developing a training facilitation manual on the design and implementation of National Action Plans on business and human rights, to complement the existing National Action Plans Toolkit by the Danish Institute for Human Rights
