Overview

The SWITCH to Green Initiative aims to facilitate the transition to an inclusive green economy that generates growth, creates decent jobs, and helps reduce poverty.

What does the project offer?

  1. SWITCH to Green provides technical assistance, funding, and policy support to promote sustainable consumption and production (SCP).
  2. It fosters partnerships among governments, businesses, and civil society to support green entrepreneurship and innovation.
  3. The project strengthens the enabling environment for sustainable business, including regulatory frameworks and access to green finance.
  4. It delivers capacity building to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to adopt cleaner technologies and circular business models.
  5. Public awareness campaigns and stakeholder dialogues are used to promote behavioural change and support green value chains.
