Transparency and Sustainability in Supply Chains in the Amazon​

Overview

The project aims to make agricultural supply chains in the Amazon biome more environmentally friendly and more transparent.

Key activities of the project include:

  1. Supporting the development and implementation of public policies on sustainable production;
  2. Strengthening local governance and state ABC+ groups (ABC Low-Carbon Agriculture Plan);
  3. Integrating approaches to promote gender equity and youth participation in public policies;
  4. Providing training and capacity building on sustainable livestock farming and integrated systems, with a focus on family farmers, women, and youth;
  5. Establishing demonstration units in the region;
  6. Promoting transparency mechanisms along the value chain;
  7. Conducting studies and analyses on economic viability;
  8. Facilitating dialogues, exchanges, and digital platforms;
  9. Producing communication and knowledge management products to raise broad awareness.
