Overview
The aim of the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) is to improve corporate sustainability and responsibility by measuring companies’ performance on the SDGs.
Through its publicly available benchmarks, WBA creates value for a wide range of stakeholders:
- Companies benefit from focused benchmarks and transparent rankings that highlight improvement areas and drive sustainable action.
- Civil society and unions use WBA data as accountability tools and to inform policy advocacy.
- Business associations gain industry-wide insights and foster peer learning.
- Governments use benchmarks to shape targeted regulations and improve oversight.
- Asset owners and financial institutions rely on WBA to guide ESG strategies, reduce divestment risks, and support sustainable investment in emerging markets.
Please check the project's website for dates of the calls for proposals.
