Political leaders and technical experts from the EU and the LAC region will discuss the current challenges and opportunities relating to access to pharmaceuticals.
The forum will cover questions on how the two regions can collaborate more closely and improve access to quality, safe, effective and affordable pharmaceutical innovations.
From a product perspective, the scope of the forum includes therapeutics, vaccines, generics and biosimilars, particularly to meet the public health needs of LAC and EU markets.
The event will include panels on governments’ role, ongoing private sector-led projects, the various determinants for the sustainability of investments, and financing for the pharmaceutical sector.
This forum concludes the EU-LAC pharmaceutical matchmaking initiative held throughout February and March 2023.
