Description
In this context, development cooperation actors must ensure that these new interventions are well-designed, strategically aligned, and have a positive SDG impact on the ground. This entails overcoming technical and context-driven challenges in designing, monitoring, and using these frameworks.
To address these issues, an OECD-EU partnership has produced a practical guidance toolkit to strengthen the quality and use of results frameworks for sustainable development. The OECD Guidance Toolkit provides a comprehensive approach to promote informed decision-making and improving the efficiency and impact of European development cooperation.
This session aims to: (a) introduce the new OECD-EU Guidance Toolkit for enhancing effective results frameworks in development cooperation practice; (b) assist EU services and delegations in understanding, adopting, and sharing the toolkit with partner country governments and implementers of EU support, demonstrating its benefits and practical solutions; and (c) gather feedback for future improvements and developments of the guidance toolkit in terms of content and format.
