Description
The aim of the event is to present the evidence how social protection contributes to achieving the Global Gateway Investment Package goals. After an introduction, INTPA G4 (social protection thematic section) will present its approach to the new generation of social protection programs and INTPA's input to the latest international developments in this area. This is then followed by an expert's analysis on Strengthening the Africa-EU Partnership in Social Protection through the Global Gateway Africa-Europe Investment package, highlighting international best practice and challenges, #Team Europe efforts and proposing several entry points how social protection can help achieve the goals of the Global Gateway Investment Package.
