Celebrate the power of digital innovations for gender equality and development.
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed and widened inequalities around the globe putting at higher risks the livelihoods of women and girls. Building on our ongoing work at the #SmartDevelopmentFund, we are excited to announce the 2022 #SmartDevelopmentDay – a journey through our locally created and globally implemented digital innovation projects that put women’s rights at the center of the digital transformation and champion the democratization of information and health.
This online event will bring together tech allies, and the most creative minds of the digital sector and development cooperation from all over the world in an interactive format featuring live keynotes, engaging Q&A panels and an online marketplace with workshops and networking opportunities while commemorating Women’s International Day on 08 March 2022.
