Call for proposal – Implementing partners for UNEP InTex project in Africa

Call for proposals In Tex Africa

We are very excited to announce that UNEP is looking for technical intermediaries that can act as UNEP’s implementing partners in Africa for its ‘In Tex’ project.

This three-year project funded by the European Commission promotes innovative business practices and economic models in the textilevalue chain. The InTex project has five components. Two components have global reach and three components will focus on national implementation in three countries in Africa. The three countries are to be selected through this call for proposals, including the three technical intermediaries UNEP will partner with to implement the three components that have national focus. The project will drive the uptake of eco-innovation and Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) in SMEs in the textile sector in three countries in Africa and ensure sustainability of the approach, by strengthening the capacity of local partners who can continue to deliver knowledge and capacity beyond the project life-span.
