The European Union and Magic System Foundation Solidarity Caravan

Magic System Foundation and the European Union have decided to support the government's efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus by providing food and equipment to prevent the epidemic to thousands of families in the autonomous district of Abidjan.

These donations consist of kits made up of rice, oil, sugar, soap and hydro-alcoholic gel. On April 2, the European Union and the Magic System Foundation launched a solidarity action for populations in the district of Abidjan and Grand-Bassam, # solidariteCOVID19civ. They initially targeted 5,000 families. These families were chosen by the social services of the town halls, in consultation with the district management committees, neighbourhood development committees and other local associations, which best know their population's needs.

This action by the European Union and the Magic System Foundation is just the beginning. Aware of the needs of many other families in Abidjan and the inside of the country, it is as the starting point for a chain of solidarity, # solidariteCOVID19civ, already joined by the Didier Drogba Foundation, which committed to donating kits to an additional 5,000 families.
