Overview
This flagship project aims to improve last-mile digital connectivity in remote and underserved areas of Bangladesh, including regions vulnerable to natural disasters. With the vision of connecting the unconnected, the project seeks to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural communities, enhancing access to digital tools and services for up to 16 million people.
By expanding digital access, the initiative will create new socio-economic opportunities, support remote education to raise literacy levels, and help reduce rural-to-urban migration. It will also improve access to essential services such as healthcare, banking, and government platforms.
Key areas of impact include promoting gender equality, empowering youth, and strengthening disaster preparedness, particularly in building resilience to climate change.
