Overview
This project supports efforts to explore investments from green hydrogen and sustainable fuels for maritime decarbonisation to new sustainable transport infrastructure and energy generation and distribution within Panama, including its remote areas, as well as with its neighbouring countries.
To help Panama meet the objectives of its Energy Transition Agenda, Team Europe promotes quality investments in universal access to energy, green hydrogen, generation and distribution, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility. Having set up a Global Gateway working group, the EU, EIB, Member States and the private sector coordinate with their Panamanian counterparts to bring investments to fruition by supporting the necessary adjustments in planning, regulatory framework, capacity-building and financing.
