EU-Africa: Global Gateway Investment Package - Strategic Corridors

The Africa-EU Green Energy Initiative aims to increase electricity production and access to energy, promote energy efficiency, create a conducive regulatory environment for private investments and advance market integration.

These Global Gateway initiatives will build resilience by supporting disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, enhancing disaster preparedness for effective response and strengthen governance to manage disaster.

These initiatives focus on strengthening education systems at all levels, in particular on providing quality education, ensuring equality and equity in access to it, and on fostering skills for life and employment.

The EU has signed Forest Partnerships with Guyana, Mongolia, Republic of Congo, Uganda, Zambia: new, holistic cooperation frameworks for joint work on forests and the activities and communities they harbour.
