EU-Africa: Global Gateway Investment Package - Strategic Corridors

The Africa-EU Green Energy Initiative aims to increase electricity production and access to energy, promote energy efficiency, create a conducive regulatory environment for private investments and advance market integration.

These Global Gateway initiatives will build resilience by supporting disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, enhancing disaster preparedness for effective response and strengthen governance to manage disaster.

These initiatives focus on strengthening education systems at all levels, in particular on providing quality education, ensuring equality and equity in access to it, and on fostering skills for life and employment.

These initiatives will support Africa’s efforts in COVID-19 vaccine delivery and deployment, proposed infrastructure and production capacities, skills development, regulatory frameworks, universal health coverage, health security, and digital health and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
