The project aims at strengthening the climate change resilience of Pacific Island ecosystems, economies and communities by promoting and supporting Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
The Kiwa Initiative is the first cooperation between France, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The Initiative is managed by Agence française de développement (AFD).
