Large-scale green hydrogen project

Overview

This flagship project consists in developing a sustainable green ammonia production facility in Argentina, Morocco, and Namibia, leveraging each country’s abundant solar and wind resources.

Main project activities include:

  • Supporting the EU energy transition and positioning partner countries as key players in the global hydrogen market.
  • Constructing photovoltaic and wind farms, electrolyzers, desalination units, ammonia synthesis systems, and storage infrastructure.
  • Advancing preparatory work such as land acquisition, environmental permitting, wind resource assessment, and early engagement with local communities and authorities.
  • Mobilizing a blend of private investment, EU green funding, and strategic partnerships to drive clean energy deployment and industrial development.
