Overview
The EU and the Government of Ghana handed over in June 2024 in an official ceremony 670km rehabilitated roads to beneficiary communities in Upper West Region. The rehabilitation of feeder roads is much needed to boost agriculture, facilitate market access and increase farmers income in Northern Ghana.
This is part of a wider package encompassing improved irrigation schemes (dams, boreholes and pumping stations), support to agribusiness and resilience to climate change as well as access to finance, all contributing to development and stability in Northern Ghana.
