Overview
The flagship project aims to support Paraguay in its economic transformation through the implementation of a large sustainable forestry and logistics sector initiative with multiple sub-projects.
The flagship project's impacts for Paraguay are threefold:
- Paraguay able to better Increased capacities in the fight against deforestation
- Increased economic and social welfare for Paraguayans
- Increased sustainable energy/fuels availability
The Flagship consists of the following sectors:
- pulp mill
- forestry value chain
- raw material logistics
- green energy/fuels
- digital Connectivity
- upskilling
The project includes the construction of a state-of-the-art greenfield pulp mill with the development of its own plantations, generating three products bleached cellulose, electric energy, and carbon credits in a sustainable manner, along with a generation of value for its interest groups through the implementation of socio-environmental programs.
