Global Gateway je strategie Evropské unie, která se zaměřuje na podporu inteligentních, čistých a zabezpečených propojení v oblasti digitálních technologií, energetiky a dopravy a na posílení zdravotnických, vzdělávacích a výzkumných systémů na celém světě.
Strategie Global Gateway je plně v souladu s Agendou OSN pro udržitelný rozvoj 2030 a jejími cíli udržitelného rozvoje, jakož i s Pařížskou dohodou.
Cílem strategie Global Gateway je shromáždit investice ve výši až 300 miliard eur.
Díky přístupu „tým Evropa“ budou v rámci této strategie spolupracovat EU, její členské státy a jejich finanční a rozvojové instituce. Cílem je podnítit soukromý sektor k investování do probíhající transformace.
