Description
The EU and Greenland have a long-standing partnership built on shared priorities. Through the new EU-Greenland Joint Declaration our partnership is evolving to respond to a changing context and new opportunities.
Building on strong foundations in areas such as education and fisheries, it is now expanding into new areas that reflect Greenland’s needs and priorities. Through a new €200 million Global Gateway Partnership Package, we will boost support for connectivity, sustainable energy and critical raw materials.
Together, the EU and Greenland are creating opportunities for people, supporting sustainable development and economic resilience while strengthening cooperation in the Arctic.
