Evaluation of EU Budget Support to El Salvador (2009-2017)

The evaluation provides an independent review of all 5 Budget Support programmes implemented in El Salvador during the period 2009-2017. In doing so, it assesses the extent to which Budget Support was an appropriate instrument to enhance national policy outcomes in the country. More specifically, it analyses its contribution to macroeconomic management, social protection, education, governance and on the added value of development cooperation.
