External Evaluation of the EU’s Sustainable Energy Cooperation (2011-2016)

The evaluation offers an independent review of initiatives that were implemented between 2011-2016. Specific attention is given to the actual support provided by those initiatives in the areas of policy dialogue, capacity development and investments attraction. Although the main geographic focus is Sub-Saharan Africa, the evaluation also covers policies in Asia, the Pacific and the Caribbean. Both geographic and thematic instruments of sustainable energy cooperation are assessed.
