Description
This evaluation provides an independent, stocktaking, lesson-learning and forward-looking assessment of the EU response to the COVID-19 during the first year of the pandemic in 17 cases study countries and regions: Afghanistan, the Caribbean (Barbados), the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Honduras, Kenya, Montenegro. Morocco, Myanmar, the Pacific (Fiji), Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Ukraine, Turkey, and Yemen.
The assessment looks at the three main components of the EU response: 1) emergency/humanitarian assistance, 2) health, water and sanitation, and 3) longer term socio-economic support.
