Description
This independent evaluation provides a response to the Regulation (EU) 236/2014 of 11 March 2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the European Union's (EU) instruments for financing external action ('the Common Implementing Regulation'), which requires a mid-term review report on several EU external financing instruments. This assessment analyzes if instruments for international development cooperation, financial support for neighborhood countries and contributions to Human Rights and Democracy and Stability and Peace instruments are fit for purpose halfway through their period of implementation.
