OECD Economic Outlook for Southeast Asia, China and India 2021. Growth and Digitalisation Challenges in the Time of COVID-19

The 2021 edition of the Outlook i) provides a macroeconomic assessment of the current state of conjuncture in Emerging Asia and discusses the appropriate fiscal, monetary and health policy response; and in the thematic chapter, ii) addresses reallocation of resources to digitalisation in response to COVID-19, with special focuses on health, education and Industry 4.0. The Covid-19 crisis brought about a number of policy challenges and at the same time provided an opportunity for accelerating digitalisation.
