Jutta Urpilainen, EU Commissioner for International Partnerships, participated in the 13th Horn of Africa initiative Ministerial meeting. It was the occasion to reiterate EU’s full support to the initiative and to the Horn of Africa countries.
The French Presidency – represented by the Ministry for National Education and Youth and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs –, together with the European Commission, held a ministerial round table on 29 June in Paris, to discuss the role of the European Union in transforming education.
The EU, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana and the cocoa sector have today agreed to step up work on making cocoa more sustainable.
