Transport and trade facilitation projects along the strategic 'Northern Corridor' will improve regional connectivity and trade. The corridor links Kenya to neighbouring Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is the busiest trade and transport corridor in East Africa. 

Embrace Nusantara's next-gen digital infrastructure including ultrafast broadband (fixed and 5G), Smart Urban Infrastructure with data-rich Smart Poles, and a comprehensive data and application platform.

Modernisation of the Olkaria geothermal power plant to increase the renewable electricity generation capacity and ensure its availability.

Improve international and regional cooperation on the One Health approach in the fight against pandemics, by advancing interoperable digital information systems and promoting technical skills in relevant institutions for improved laboratory services and food safety.

This project includes the rehabilitation of the port of Rabaul, as well as technical assistance to support the Papua New Guinea Ports Corporation in developing an investment plan for greening port infrastructure. In 2023 the country will make the formal financing request.

Support education and professional training in the health sector, establish the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector and the Rwanda Food and Drug Authority (FDA)KWIGIRA Programme as well as a Quality Control Lab at the Rwanda Food and Drugs Authority (RFDA)

Invest in training middle to high-level technicians, crucial for the short and medium/long-term implementation of the country's industrial policy.

This initiative will boost Latin America's manufacturing capacity, foster equitable access to safe and affordable health products, and strengthen health resilience in the region to tackle endemic and emerging diseases.
