Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education - priorities applicable to Strand 3 project proposals
Specific Global Gateway-related priorities must be addressed under Strand 3 of the Call for Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE). These priorities are to be considered solely within the scope of Capacity Building in Higher Education action, Strand 3, part of the Erasmus+ Programme Guide 2025.
In addition to leading to structural reforms and systemic change, Strand 3 project proposals must also be aligned with the following priorities for the partner countries involved:
Priorities for regions 5 (Asia), 6 (Central Asia), 7 (Middle East), 8 (Pacific)
Priorities for region 9 (Sub-Saharan Africa)
Priorities for regions 10 (Latin America) and 11 (Caribbean)
In the above-mentioned regions, Strand 3 will fund projects that are expected to accelerate a sustainable transformation of the education system in the country priority areas as identified above
This requirement is obligatory and will be carefully evaluated as part of the Relevance criterion.
