Description
The session will provide a general overview of processes and tools relevant to promote and implement conflict sensitivity in EU programming, also in relation to requirements included in the NDICI Global Europe regulations.
Introduction on the conflict sensitivity requirements prescribed in NDICI regulations - Explanation of how mandatory conflict analysis screenings are carried out and expected impacts on programming phases (Multi-Annual Indicative Programmes, Annual Action Plans, Actions Documents, etc.) - Overview of the Conflict Sensitivity guidance notes (updating the 2015 EU Staff Handboook on Operating of Situations of Conflict and Fragility) and how they can support the incorporation of conflict sensitivity recommendations into EU programming - Presentation of the Results Chain on Resilience, Conflict Sensitivity and Peace, including indicators for action documents and monitoring purposes
