Description

This report is the result of an independent assessment of the performance of the European Union (EU) cooperation with Papua New Guinea from 2014 until the end of 2021.

The evaluation looked at all actions implemented under the multi-annual financial framework (MFF) 2014-2020 and the 11th European Development Fund, and at the programming of the start of the new 2021-2027 MFF under NDIGI-Global Europe. It also looked at non-financial cooperation and at elements of EU cooperation with the Pacific Region at large.

It provides an account of the main findings, conclusions and lessons learned, and recommendations for the future of EU cooperation and EU funded interventions in Papua New Guinea.
