Strategic evaluation of EU support to Research and Innovation for development in partner countries (2007-2013)

This independent evaluation provides an overall judgment on the extent to which the EU development cooperation policy has adopted a strategic approach to support research and innovation and whether the approach was appropriate to enhance capacity to reach development objectives. This evaluation focuses on food security, nutrition and agriculture, health, environment and climate change, and science, information society and space. Field visits were conducted in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mauritius, Peru, South Africa, Tunisia, Ukraine and Vietnam.
