The EU-Paraguay Investment Forum 2025 aims to promote European investment and trade flows with Paraguay by identifying opportunities aligned with the Global Gateway priorities.
The forum is organised in close collaboration between the Vice ministry of Investments and Exports (REDIEX) of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the EU Delegation to Paraguay.

Description
The event will focus on three key sectors:
- Sustainable forestry
- Renewable energy and green hydrogen
- Sustainable logistics and clean transport
Digitalisation of services and sustainable financing will be cross-cutting themes included in the sectoral discussions with concrete examples.
The event will consist of high-level keynotes, panel discussions, investment project pitches, programmed field visits and exhibition space, supported by in-presence and online match-making between projects and investors.
The forum will demonstrate the potential of Paraguay as a destination for Foreign Direct Investment in Global Gateway sectors, raise awareness of the Global Gateway Investment Agenda and encourage public-private cooperation between EU and Paraguay. At the same time, it will encourage taking advantage of the benefits of the EU-MERCOSUR Association Agreement and support trade relations between companies in Paraguay and EU countries.
As part of the forum preparations, until April 2025, it is possible to propose potential investments projects in Paraguay to be included in the Investment Forum with the project proposal form (in Spanish only).
