There are 160 million children in child labour in the world and each child has their story.

A series of short animated videos shines a light on the different lived experiences of children involved in child labour. They perform hazardous work to produce raw materials exported worldwide.

The first video depicts the life of Asha, a young girl working on her family cotton farm. The second animation is about Faustin, a young boy mining cobalt. The third video is about Pitang, a girl working on a sugarcane plantation.

The videos show how the EU is helping remove children like Asha, Faustin and Pitang from child labour through its development cooperation.
