Development of generation and evacuation infrastructure for on-grid renewable energy projects and construction of six small hydropower plants (approx. 2MW) in Nigeria

Overview

This project is designed to boost sustainable agricultural value chains and promote access to clean, affordable and renewable energy in the public and private sector, in Nigeria.

Funds are​ invested in off-grid hydro and solar systems for health and agriculture facilities. In concrete terms, the construction of six small hydropower has already generated approximately 2MW and benefits small and medium entreprises in the agricultural sector. State-owned public health care facilities have been​​ electrified with solar micro-grid.
