Overview
This flagship project supports to the socio-professional integration of young women with a focus on the needs of the labour market in a gender perspective.
The key activities include:
- Support for the entire training chain creation/update of training curricula, reinforcement of the technical and pedagogical skills of trainers
- Direct support for identified training centres by refurbishing the infrastructure, equiping the technical platforms, training the management team, setting-up quality assurance plans and projects for the establishments
- Implementing innovative training systems (skills-based approach and active teaching, twinning with European training centres, mentoring, etc.)
- Developing personalised training pathways for students
- Developing personalised pathways to upgrade basic skills, guidance, training and monitoring the professional integration of young people, particularly girls and young women
- Drawing up and implementing a gender strategy and a gender action plan in vocational training and technical education, including the fight against sexual corruption
- Designing specific incentives for access and retention of girls in TVET and protection of girls and young women against all forms of gender-based violence within the identified training centres
