Overview
This private sector project led by the German company MCA Deutschland GmbH consists in the development, supply and installation of an end-to-end solution for the sustainable electrification of 60 communities in five provinces in Angola.
The project includes the construction of a new hybrid photovoltaic generation system with energy storage, construction of new and expansion of existing substations and cables, construction of distribution centres including installation works. More than 200,000 households (around 1 Mio. Angolans) will gain access to electricity.
