On 21-23 January, Commissioner for International Partnerships Jozef Síkela participated in the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos, Switzerland, to present the European Union’s flagship strategy, Global Gateway.
Today at Davos, European Commissioner for International partnerships Jozef Síkela confirmed EU support for the groundbreaking programme called the Green Corridor Kivu-Kinshasa, just announced by President of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Felix Tshisekedi.
On January 16 and 17, Commissioner Síkela participated in the Angola-France Economic Forum in Paris. The forum was an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties with Angola, and to meet with the French private sector to discuss investment opportunities under the Global Gateway strategy in Angola.
