Construction of Yaounde bypass in Cameroon

Overview

This flagship project consists in the construction of the bypass in Yaoundé (Cameroon). This construction will facilitate transport, stimulate economic development and make viable 1,200 hectares of urban hubs.

This project will allow to improve:

  • mobility in the urban core of Yaoundé by diverting transit traffic (local and sub-regional)
  • safety and comfort of users of the city's primary road network
  • housing supply and attractiveness of the city and its surrounding areas through the creation of urban development hubs
  • coherence in government action

It will also contribute to reducing carbon emissions in order to give the ring road a role as a green belt around Yaoundé.
