2024 annual report on the implementation of the European Union’s external action instruments in 2023

This report outlines key aspects of the EU’s financial support in 2023 for international partnerships, humanitarian aid, foreign policy and enlargement. It reflects the important support provided by the EU to address the global and regional consequences of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, to tackle various other global challenges, and to implement the Global Gateway strategy. 

In 2023, the EU also continued implementing a long-term agenda aligned on the Sustainable Development Goals, guided by a vision of sustainability and partnership.
