Personal data protection Under the data protection rules that are applicable to the Commission (Regulation 2018/1725), we have an obligation to inform people about the way we - or contractors acting on our behalf - will process their personal data. This mandatory information must be provided before personal data are collected and must include explanations about why data is collected, how and whom to contact in case of questions or conflicts. The template should be used by framework contractors when they process personal data on behalf of the Commission. It must be adapted according to the specific consultation activities they are tasked with.
